St Basil’s ‘The Grove’, Randwick, NSW

The Grove comprises 79 independent living units, and a 113-room residential care facility. On-site amenities include a chapel, day care centre, multi-purpose room, pool, gym, beauty salon, wellness centre, and a café.

Surrounded by heritage listed fig trees, The Grove forms part of the curtilage of the historic Brigidine Convent and site of the 19th century home of Randwick Council Alderman and botanist, Edwin Daintrey.

JDA worked with PTW Architects to design signage and environmental graphics that complement the development’s architectural palette; working in harmony with The Grove’s characteristic heritage surroundings.

Our contribution as part of the PTW creative team was recognised by Property Council of Australia through the prestigious Seniors Living/Retirement Development Award, and further signage commissions for St Basil’s care facilities in ACT.
